How we use cookies on erasmusarts.eu.
Last updated: May 2026
In short
- We only use strictly necessary cookies for the platform to work (session and language preference).
- We do not use tracking cookies, advertising or third-party analytics.
- You don't need to accept anything to use the platform as a visitor.
- For anything: info@erasmusarts.eu.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They allow the site to remember information between pages or sessions (for example, that you are signed in, or which language you have chosen).
This policy explains which cookies erasmusarts.eu uses, what for, and how you can manage them.
2. Our principle: only the essentials
We have designed the platform to use the absolute minimum of cookies. We only use strictly necessary cookies for the service to work. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising, profiling or third-party analytics.
This means that, in accordance with Article 22(2) of the Spanish Information Society Services Act (LSSI 34/2002) and the EU ePrivacy Directive, we do not need to ask for your consent to install the cookies we use. Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the prior consent requirement.
3. Cookies we use
3.1. Session cookies (Supabase Auth)
When you sign in to the platform, our authentication system (managed by Supabase) installs cookies to keep your session active while you browse and to remember that you are signed in across pages.
• Purpose: authentication and session maintenance.
• Duration: until you sign out or the session expires through inactivity.
• Type: strictly necessary, first-party.
• Legal basis: Article 22(2) LSSI (cookies necessary for service provision).
Without these cookies it is not possible to sign in or to maintain access to the coordinator or administrator panel.
3.2. Language preference cookie
When you select a language in the header switcher, we save that preference in a cookie so we can show you the platform in your chosen language on later visits.
• Purpose: remember your preferred language.
• Duration: up to one year from installation.
• Type: strictly necessary for functional personalisation, first-party.
• Legal basis: Article 22(2) LSSI.
4. Third-party cookies
We do not use third-party cookies.
There are no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Google Tag Manager, advertising tracking tools, heatmaps, or similar services.
The providers we do use to make the platform work (Supabase for database and authentication, Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email) may collect minimal technical data for security and operational reasons (for example, IP address at connection time), but they do not install tracking cookies in your browser. For more information about these providers, see our Privacy Policy.
5. How to manage cookies in your browser
Even though we do not use cookies that require prior consent, you have the right to manage your browser's cookies as you prefer. You can view, block or delete cookies through your browser's settings:
• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Important: if you block strictly necessary cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the platform or access authenticated areas. The public sections (centers map, center listings, opportunities, informational page) will remain accessible without cookies.
6. Changes to this Policy
If in the future we add additional cookies (for example, first-party analytics to understand how the platform is used and improve it), we will update this policy in advance and, if required by the nature of the new cookies, we will ask for your explicit consent through a banner before installing them.
The «Last updated» date at the top of this document always reflects the current version.
