About M&D Europe
A network of arts education centers linking music and dance institutions across Europe, enabling Erasmus+ mobility with trusted partners.
What Is M&D Europe
M&D Europe (Music & Dance for Europe) is a network of arts education centers — conservatories, music schools, dance schools and related institutions — that coordinate Erasmus+ mobility programmes across Europe.
The network was built on real relationships between Erasmus+ coordinators at institutions that have been collaborating for years, through annual meetings and shared communication channels. Every center that is part of the network has been brought in by the community itself, guaranteeing an environment where mobilities are managed between partners who already know and trust each other.
M&D Europe currently brings together more than 40 centers from several European countries.
Erasmus Arts, the online platform
To manage collaborations, M&D Europe has developed Erasmus Arts: the digital platform where partner centers coordinate their Erasmus+ mobilities.
From Erasmus Arts, center coordinators can:
From your coordinator panel you can publish mobility opportunities with full details: discipline, dates, number of places and language requirements. Opportunities are visible to all partner centers in the network, who can request an exchange directly.
Use filters to locate partner centers by specialty (music, dance, mixed), working language and Erasmus+ programme type. Each center shows its updated mobility profile with available places and the profiles they are looking for.
When a center wants to collaborate with you, you receive a direct proposal on the platform. You can review the details, reply with questions, and accept or decline from the same panel — no external email needed.
Once an exchange is agreed, the mobility is recorded in the platform. Both centers can track its status, register participants and communicate directly from the coordination panel.
In future phases, the platform will open to teachers and students at participating centers and incorporate automatic generation of required mobility documentation.
How to Join
M&D Europe is open to conservatories and music and dance education centers that participate in Erasmus+ programmes. If your center would like to join the network, write to us: membership is arranged through existing partner centers.
